another be3autiful scene
Maybe the best scene of the show. There are so many but this is too 5 at least for me.
Josh Holloway is a great actor
This is the kind of dialouge payoff that later seasons game of thrones never gave us.
Sawyer fit
This is how men share their feelings.
where to find this minigun? i downloaded the mod but idk
There were already SO many moments in this first season that convinced me this show was something different, better than I'd ever experienced with another show;. the reveal in "Walkabout" being one of the BIG ones... But Sawyer telling Jack about meeting Christian before they all got on that ill-fated plane is THE moment that convinced me I would be glued to this show until it ended or was cancelled. And the only reason Sawyer knew about the connection was from Jack repeating Christian's "that's why the Red Sox will never win the series" saying. No other scene in this show would make me tear up like Jack reacting to the ghost of his father's words coming out of Sawyer's mouth *until* Christian and Jack's conversation on May 23, 2010. Damn it, this show was so good!!
I think that the actor playing Sawyer was an unbelievable talent I could see elements of Marlon Brando in him
This show was so brilliant that by the time i reached the 4th season Sawyer ended up being my favorite character in the entire series...absolutely brilliant storytelling.
Lost was never "he's the bad guy" and he's "the good guy" but Sawyer dropping this. Sheeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttt.
Still remember
One of MANY of my favorite scenes! Love these 2 fellas ❤
Savyer Juliet ikilisi muhteşemdi.
This is one of the greatest and most underrated scenes in the history of television for so many reasons.
Gut wrencher of a scene.
i think this is the best scene in the whole show
what an acting by these two
Sawyer didn’t need to do this but he chose to do it to help Jack out when he clearly needed it
Not me in 2023, mouthing "Something tells me he never got around to making that call".
Sorry, but this dialog is really bad. Kudos to Holloway for trying but even good acting can't fix bad lines.😂 Kids are like dogs? Some kind of a big time falling out? I've been on some ventures, but this guy is going for an all time record? Wishes he had the stones to pick up the phone?😅
Nothing wrong with the final three lines you listed. It was consistent with the character. And it was "been on some kind of bender" not ventures.
Faggot ass Sawyer
One of my favorite scenes from the show
Sawyer tells Jack his secret: "I like ya and I want ya."
Im a warrior!
"See, kids are like dogs. Knock 'em around enough, they'll think they did something to deserve it." This brought a tear to my eye.
hits in the feels still. "Good luck Jack"
Jack and James' relationship was one of the best.
This scene and the scene where Christian tells Ana Lucía that he came to Sydney because he can never make it up to Jack. I wish Ana Lucía figured out that Jack was the son
Sawyer would give anything to hear this and have this kind of closure, even if him and Jack didn't like each other very much, this is the least one could give the other.
This scene just fucks me up. Just perfectly written and acted. Sawyer and Jack have so much antagonism early on in the series, and Sawyer's internal conflict about saying nothing and letting Jack go is apparent, or even opening his mouth about this story in the first place. Sawyer's details as the story goes on show where this is headed. "Kids are like dogs, you knock 'em around enough they'll think they did something to deserve it." The stare after saying that when he looks at Jack, like he knows from experience, too. Confessing what Jack's dad wanted to say: "Tell him he's proud, he loves him." Then the final line after seeing Jack's reaction, "Something tells me he never got around to making that call." Too much. This whole scene is so good.
As a massive lost fan this has always been one of my favourite scenes in the series it’s one of the few intimate moments between James (sawyer) and jack it really got to me the first time I watched lost.
Just showed this to my wife named Lydia
Sawyer was a jerk but he was really a good guy at the end of the day
Hell of a thing to hear from someone who you thought was an enemy.
Truly beautiful scene. Lost is the best show that’s ever been on TV.
I never knew my father. I never got that call……….
Yeah me too.
Sawyer rarely calls people by their name he is too cool for that. hes got a nickname for everyone, but when he uses your name you know he's being real..
I was wrong this is th best scene of the show!
Dooming mankind once more for the sake of funny
I told everyone this was the scene that showed the were best friends!
Wasn’t there a scene later on in the series where Jack thanks Sawyer for telling him about his father?
Jack and Sawyer, enemies, adversaries, and eventually friends. This scene at the time was crushing, we were all knew it was coming. Big props to Matthew Fox for his performance in this scene.
☝🏻
Wow. Such powerful scenes. So many shows have tried to be as good as Lost was. They all fall short.
Best episode of season 1. So many great moments
He needed to hear this to move forward.
Jack will always be in his debt after delivering this important piece of information
On the series finale when Jack’s memories of his friends from the island start flashing after through his mind after touching the coffin. When it shows Sawyer it’s from this scene. And Sawyer is second to the last it shows which is Kate.
best emotion i ever seen
This scene hooked me to the show.
